Lubo-LRS

The Lubo-LRS project lasts from July 2021 to June 2024 and is funded by the Boll-Foundation. The project's aim is to develop and evaluate a preventive training programme fostering social and emotional competencies of children with dyslexia. This training is an extension to the evidence-based training of social-emotional learning (“Lubo aus dem All”, Hillenbrand et al., 2018). In a first step, we identify challenging situations for children with dyslexia via literature research and an interview study. Afterwards, we develop the concept of the training which will provide opportunities to support dyslexic children especially in these situations. The training will be implemented and evaluated in a longitudinal study in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
