IFO 2025 - 38. Jahrestagung der Inklusionsforscher*innen 17.-19.02.2025

Von 17.-19. Februar fand in Köln die 38. Jahrestagung der Inklusionsforscher*innen (IFO) statt, die sich mit dem Thema Inklusion, Bildung und Transformation auseinandersetzte. Barbara Gasteiger-Klicpera, Dominik Pendl und Valerie Fredericks nahmen an der Konferenz teil und stellten drei Beiträge vor: zum Erasmus+ Projekt me_HeLi-D („Digitale Wege zur Förderung der psychischen Gesundheit von Jugendlichen: das me_HeLi-D Programm und erste Ergebnisse aus der Pilotierungsphase“) sowie zu Prävention und Diagnose von Demenz bei Menschen mit intellektueller Beeinträchtigung („Der Einfluss inklusiver Bildung und gesellschaftlicher Teilhabe auf den Aufbau der kognitiven Reserve bei Menschen mit intellektueller Beeinträchtigung“ und „Erkennen, Verstehen, Handeln: Der Diagnoseprozess von Demenz bei Menschen mit intellektueller Beeinträchtigung“).  Die Präsentationen stießen auf reges Interesse seitens der Konferenzteilnehmer*innen und führten zu intensiven Diskussionen. 

From 17th-19th February, the 38th Annual Conference of Inclusion Researchers (IFO) took place in Cologne, focusing on the topic of inclusion, education, and transformation. Barbara Gasteiger-Klicpera, Dominik Pendl, and Valerie Fredericks took part in the conference and presented three contributions: on the Erasmus+ project me_HeLi-D (‘Digital ways to promote the mental health of young people: the me_HeLi-D programme and initial results from the pilot phase’) and on the prevention and diagnosis of dementia in people with intellectual disabilities (‘The influence of inclusive education and social participation on the development of cognitive reserve in people with intellectual disabilities’ and ‘Recognising, understanding, acting: the diagnostic process for dementia in people with intellectual disabilities’. The presentations met with lively interest from the conference participants and led to intensive discussions.
