Together with Aventu, an innovative platform that offers interactive audio books for children aged 4 to 10, we are developing a co-creation workshop.
The aim of this research is to conduct an ethnographic study with experts, including teachers, parents and their children. In the qualitative evaluation of a semi-functional prototype of an interactive audio book, various aspects of the book will be evaluated.
Among other things, it will be examined what constitutes the interactivity of the audio content and how this is perceived by 6-7-year-old children. The interactive audio book aims to offer new possibilities for the reception, interpretation and exchange of literary texts. The types of joint use of the interactive audio book by parents, teachers and children will also be investigated. The results should form the basis for possible further design of this technology and also find out how such an audio book could be integrated into learning contexts.
