Video case archive: Stories from school
Stories from School is a project that is being carried out in cooperation with Austrian schools and is intended to make a lasting contribution to the qualitative improvement and support of teacher training and teaching research. This is implemented through the first Austrian video case archive with authentic scenes from everyday teaching. This case archive contains video recordings of selected teaching situations, enabling (future) teachers and researchers to take an analytical look at teaching practice and gain inspiration for their own teaching activities. All videos are teaching examples and sequences from different class levels, school types and subjects with different thematic focuses. In addition, the teaching examples are supported by accompanying materials such as transcripts and work materials.
The project is funded by the Karl-Franzens University of Graz and directly supports the Teacher Training Network (South-East Development Group). The University of Leipzig is a cooperation partner in this project.
All recordings that can be found in the case archive are made in compliance with the highest ethical standards. All persons depicted in the videos (or their legal guardians) give their express consent to the production of the image and sound recordings and to the provision of the material in the case archive. Unlawful recordings and the unwanted dissemination of the material, for example via social media, are expressly prohibited.
