Research capacity building to strengthen Empirical Education Research on Social Cohesion and Equity in Kosovo (EduReaKos)

This programmatic partnership with the Kosovan universities "Isa Boletini" Mitrovice, "Ukshin Hoti" Prizren and the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina" aims to support capacity building as well as cooperation and networking among empirical educational researchers. As part of the partnership, young researchers are to be strengthened in their research skills through explicit training events and a joint book project. Thematically, secondary analyses of large-scale assessment data on topics of educational equity in the Kosovan school system and in comparison to neighboring countries form a common frame of reference.

The project is funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and the Kosovan Ministry of Education and Science (MES) within the framework of HERAS+ and has a duration of two years (Jul. 2021 - May 2023). The study is under the scientific responsibility of Univ.-Prof.in Dr.in Heike Wendt.
