Schools in Europe

Systemic. Comparative. Future-oriented.

The lecture series will discuss European education systems and current developments.  Experts present European education systems and discuss current developments. The contributions follow a consistent structure: first, historical developments are outlined, then reforms and their contextual conditions are described. In addition, the structure and organisation of the respective school system are analysed. Furthermore, concrete insights into pedagogical practices in schools are provided and current discussions and development perspectives of the respective school system are addressed.

The lecture series is a collaborative project between the Universities Graz, Regensburg, Vechta, Prishtina, Giessen. The event is open to anyone interested.
