RegiNaDiff Kids
The project "RegiNaDiff Kids: Exploring and Shaping Sustainability" (02/2025 – 07/2025), led by Lisa Paleczek, is funded by the Sustainability Fund of the Department of Education Research and Teacher Education at the University of Graz. It aligns with the goals set out in the Agenda 2030 (United Nations, 2015), specifically Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and Goal 13 (Climate Action).
The project aims to raise students' awareness of sustainability and environmental issues and serves as a follow-up to the RegiNaDiff project, conducted at the University of Graz from 11/2021 to 01/2023. While the RegiNaDiff project focused on developing differentiated, digital teaching materials on sustainability in collaboration with teachers, RegiNaDiff Kids involves students from grades 4 and 5 directly in the selection of topics through participatory workshops. This approach ensures that the developed content meets the needs and interests of the students. Subsequently, differentiated teaching materials will be created on at least three topics, available both digitally and in print.
In summary, the goal of RegiNaDiff Kids is to actively involve students from grades 4 and 5 in the development of educational content on sustainability. This will result in new freely accessible teaching materials, offered in four differentiation levels, both in print and digital formats, reflecting the students' real-world contexts.
